Rainbow fluorite

Another large piece for my dragon shelf I just happened to be browsing one of my favorite shops and they had this guy. And this is from a shop that only sells kind of typical "gift shop" specimens that are SO common, but every once in a while they get something pretty unusual. Often times these unusual items are so expensive because they are either rare or highly collectible (I can never afford them), but this was actually pretty affordable so I had to take it. It has lots of purples and blues with some greens and even has a little bit of yellow, but that can only be seen when backlit. It weighs about a pound and it's almost as big as my open hand!

And I'll hopefully get the new page done for tomorrow D: We had a big tree fall in our yard and I was helping to clean that mess up today and run some errands (which is how I was able to stop by this store to find this thing). But now that the sun is down, I can have time to get this done!
