Oh yay a contest with cool prizes!
Please read the following for rules n stuff…
The contest:
The contest is to finish the picture! NO, NOT THIS PICTURE of my fluffy OC, CC Wolf!...the pictures you have to finish are in the .PSD file that you must download. The PSD file contains 8 images (layers 1-8) that are simply lines (as shown in the image above in red). You must select one of these images and draw a picture around them (just like how I drew CC using the red lines)…easy right? You have 8 line arts to choose from so yes, you CAN have multiple entries! But here are some rules that if not followed, can get you disqualified!
Da rulez:
1.) You have 8 images to choose from so you can have a maximum of 8 entries
2.) If you choose to have multiple entries, you CAN’T use the same line art more than once
3.) You CAN transform the line arts by blowing them up, shrinking them, rotating them, mirroring them or changing their color.
4.) you CAN’T remove lines, move them (taking one line and moving closer to another, stretch them or dramatically alter them in any way
5.) you can add texture to the lines, but the overall shape of the line must not be changed!(notice the line on CC’s cheek? I added fur, but the lines follow the red line)
6.) The final image can be colored or just lines, but my lines must be visible (if you want you can submit 2 deviations, one with the lines visible and one with no lines OR submit an animated GIF that shows your art and my lines together)
7.) If you use traditional media, you can print out the lines of your choice and draw over them
8.) Do NOT use a base
9.) Do NOT trace another person’s image
10.) link the final image in the comments below

hmmm…how about 4/30/2013? Last day of April! A total of 44 days!
I will be checking images for misusing the lines or copying another work, so please follow the rules!
